About This Opportunity

Responsibilities

:
  • Metal core (MCAW) welding on structural steel building components
  • Operate various welding equipment and tools to weld in various positions (., Vertical/Horizontal)
  • Set up wire fed welding machines manually using control buttons
  • Review structural drawings for steel beams, columns, and other building components that form complete structures
  • Operate overhead cranes to transport workpieces and metal components

    • Requirements:

  • Successful completion of pre-employment college program or equivalent experience
  • Apprenticeship and Occupational Certification (Block 1)
  • New Brunswick Class B Welder's Certificate a definite asset
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in structural steel welding
  • Able to work rotating shifts, 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights
