RVT, Veterinary Technician. Location: Calgary, Alberta. Shawnessy South Animal Hospital is welcoming a full-time, dedicated registered Veterinary Technician to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. We offer mentorship, additional training, and a local community feel.

Responsibilities

• Surgical preparation, assistance and patient recovery
• Prepare and monitor anesthesia for procedures
• Radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy support
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
• Provide compassionate care for hospitalized patients and their pet parents
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Problem-solve and ask clarifying questions to find solutions
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and pet parents
