Veterinary Technician I/II (CARE) – Full‑time staff position at the University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals, World Equestrian Center, Marion (Ocala).
Responsibilities
Assist in equine sports medicine, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging services.
Provide primary and urgent care for small animal patients.
Instruct veterinary students in technical skills and supervised medical treatments and procedures.
Perform patient care under the direction of veterinarians.
Carry out tasks requiring lifting up to 40 lbs and extensive standing, bending, and kneeling.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of relevant experience (Veterinary Technician I) or credentialed veterinary technician (Veterinary Technician II).
Strong communicator with an interest in developing patient care and surgical nursing skills.
