Van Vliet Term Professor – Agricultural Economics

Formal applications are invited for a term account at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of Saskatchewan, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. The position is 1‑3 years long and is open to applicants at all career levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality research in agricultural economics, with a preference for agricultural trade and policy.
• Teach up to three courses per year at undergraduate and/or graduate level, including courses in the economics of international agribusiness and trade.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to graduate and undergraduate students.
• Engage with relevant agriculture industry stakeholders.
