Your Opportunity:

Unit 4 at the Alberta Children’s Hospital is a 27-bed combined medical/surgical unit. The nursing staff is a combination of 8 hour and 12 shifts with a RN/LPN/HCA staff mix. Patients are generally admitted to Unit 4 for pediatric medical and surgical needs with a focus on Trauma, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Metabolic Disorders, Endocrinology, Eating Disorders and Mental Health. Unit 4 is a high intensity and fast paced unit caring for a patient population with diverse and complex conditions that require variable lengths of stay. The Nursing Support Team (NST) also consists of an RN/LPN/HCA staff mix that supports patients from birth to 18 years of age on Units 1, 2, 3, 4, Surgical Short Stay and the Rotary Flames House.
