The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager, the Unit Aide works within a team to provide a safe, clean environment for all families being served by the Family Newborn Care Unit.

• Cleaning and disinfecting in accordance with Infection Control guidelines
• Ensuring patient rooms are clean and tidy
• Maintaining supplies and equipment required for the unit
• Transporting defective equipment to Biomedical Engineering
• Assisting with escort and transporting of patients
