Receive and complete requisitions, enter patient data into the diagnostic imaging information system and prepare patients for specific procedures.
Gather and verify patient history data and relevant information prior to beginning scans, and complete worksheets with exam findings for the Radiologist.
Perform ultrasound examinations of breast, abdominal, pelvic/EV, renal, soft tissue masses, thyroid, extremities, hernias and other indicated sites.
Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with regulatory body guidelines and TELUS policies.
Ensure all updates are completed and that the PACS system reflects accurate and up‑to‑date procedure codes; verify that all associated paperwork is correct before submission to the Radiologist Assistant.
