Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental standards to aid in patient’s diagnosis and/or treatment
Facilitate the provision of optimal patient care, observing and understanding hospital and departmental policies and procedures
Adhere to hospital mission and value statements while maintaining patient confidentiality
Provide radiologists with high quality imaging, accurate and complete preliminary technical impression, discussing ultrasound findings with the Radiologist when necessary
Perform other duties related to the job classification as required
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program in ultrasound technology
Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
Sonography Canada (CRGS) certification in abdomen and obstetrics/gynecology with preference given to those who...
