Join the ARHCC Trauma Service as a full-time Trauma Physician within the Fraser Health Trauma Network. Lead trauma activation teams and provide critical care on a 24/7 on-call schedule.
This role, based at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre, includes responsibilities as a Trauma Team Lead/Consultant for trauma cases and as the on-call Medical Review Physician. You will work closely with a dedicated team of 9 trauma specialists and engage collaboratively with emergency room physicians, surgeons, and other medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead trauma team activations and assessments
• Serve as Medical Review Physician for admitted patients
• Maintain a 24/7 on-call schedule, 7 days every 2 months
• Collaborate with trauma physicians and other specialists
• Provide essential care in a Level 3 trauma center
Requirements:
