Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work in our Forensic Program. The role delivers specialized care to patients with complex mental illnesses using a recovery‑focused model of care based upon compassion, inspiration and hope. The RN will engage in a leadership role, be an active and equal member of the interprofessional team, perform charge nurse responsibilities, and may have the opportunity to apply for the Patient Care Facilitator role.

Program Details

The position is within the Forensics Program, which includes:

• 138 in‑patient beds and approximately 120 patients in the Forensic Outpatient Service.
• Secure Forensic Service – 3 units, 62 beds, for higher security level patients ordered by courts or the Ontario Review Board (ORB).
