Seeking a temporary Family Physician locum at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority for a paternity leave until November 2026. This role focuses on adult medicine alongside some pediatrics.
Starting August 17, 2026, this part-time position allows for flexible hours and patient volume, seeing about 25-30 patients daily. You will work in a collegial clinic setting with 13 fellow physicians dedicated to patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and treat adult and pediatric patients
• Manage a full schedule with brief appointment wait times
• Work Monday and Friday full days, as scheduled
• Engage with an established and friendly medical team
• Minor surgeries performed in-house for convenience
Requirements:
• Board certification in Family Medicine required
• CMPA certification necessary for practice
• Experience with QHR Accuro EMR system preferred
• Strong English communication abilities
