We have an immediate opportunity for a dedicated individual to join us as a Technology Plant Operator, reporting to the Staff Scientist Manager. You will work closely with the Operations Specialist, who will provide day‑to‑day guidance.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and an openness to learn about the chemistry and production of low carbon fuels.
This is a permanent, full‑time role. You will work at our Ottawa location five days a week.
In this role, you will be responsible for investigating fiber processing and anaerobic digestion in a small‑scale pilot plant setting.
This is not a routine plant manufacturing role. You will execute process runs, collect data and collaborate with team members to validate new procedures, troubleshoot issues, identify and implement solutions and improve processes.
