Teach HI112: Untold Histories of Modern Canada this Winter 2027 at Wilfrid Laurier University. This course invites students to explore complex historical narratives that challenge conventional views.
As an instructor in-person for a class size of 100, the course will address themes like Indigenous resettlement, systemic racism, and cultural changes post-World War II. Students will learn to critically evaluate how history forms national identity and understand historians' roles in interpreting data and perspectives. This interdisciplinary approach fosters engagement and critical dialogue.
