Purpose of the Job The System Engineer for Signaling Systems is a pivotal role within the Rolling Stock & Components division. The position ensures the development, integration, and performance optimization of signaling subsystems, defining architecture and functions, overseeing interactions with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Definition: Develop comprehensive functional, performance, transverse, and train-level requirements for RSC signaling subsystems.
Subsystem Integration: Lead integration of signaling subsystems into rolling stock, addressing mechanical, electrical, and software components to ensure operational cohesiveness.
Interface Management: Specify and document necessary interfaces (mechanical, electrical, network communication) to facilitate effective integration and communication between subsystems.
