About This Opportunity

  • Prepares schedules and working papers to support tax preparation, estimated tax payments, extensions, and utility taxes
  • Updates and maintains the thin capitalization model
  • Canada Green Tax Incentives
  • Works with Development teams to analyze and understand the appropriate tax incentives for each project
  • Gathers and analyzes financial information for reporting to internal and external stakeholders
  • Produces all SAP accounting system reports for use in the preparation of tax expense, taxes due, income tax returns, VAT, excise taxes and others
  • Ensures compliance with tax policies and procedures
  • Analyzes and appropriately responds to notices from taxing authorities throughout Canada
  • Manages all Canadian tax audits in different jurisdictions
  • Liaise with various external government agencies as required
  • Researches relevant topics as required
