Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting tax laws, regulations, and policies. Within the Tax department h e/s he will work in tax return preparation and filing to make sure clients adhere to all pertinent local, state and federal tax regulations and obligations. This position will provide the candidate with the opportunity to grow his/her taxation knowledge and experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform due diligence on federal and state income and franchise tax returns for corporations, partnership, and limited liability companies.
• Prepare individual tax returns, 1040 and 1040NR, mainly.
• Calculate tax basis depreciation and amortization for tax returns, tax reporting, and tax projections.
• Prepare foreign tax returns including 5471, 5472, 8804 and 8805.
• Prepare W-7 to apply for ITIN.
• Prepare 1099’s, FBAR, Franchise Tax and Sales Tax reports.
