Highlights • Perform thoracic surgeries, including minimally invasive and complex procedures. • Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the chest and thoracic cavity. • Collaborate with surgical oncologists, medical oncologists, pulmonologists, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. • Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients. • Participate in clinical research and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. • Educate patients and families about treatment options and recovery processes. • Participate in medical student and General Surgery residency education. • Da Vinci Xi • Call for thoracic patients is shared with General Surgeons on nights and weekends. • Multi-disciplinary tumor board and ACS CoC accredited.
