+ Be responsible for all procurement related activities for specific commodities of the various product development phases. + Act as a project manager to ensure all procurement related activities are executed as per plan. + Represent Procurement with the various integrated product development team. + Track changes through the management process up to the point of implementation. + Be responsible for contractual negotiations, resulting from product ranges, with external suppliers. + Ensure that correct project tracking and visibility are provided by suppliers for Procurement and other business unit functions. + Support, where applicable, the Procurement commodity team in establishing sourcing strategies for the development programs and draft commercial agreements with the suppliers. + Provide coaching/mentoring to the agents of the team.
