The Big Picture
The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer works with suppliers to continuously improve performance of key components (reduce scrap, improve process stability and performance) by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans. They track data, will identify improvement projects, and manage cross-functional implementations to improve supplier performance. The Staff Supplier Quality Engineer requires leadership skills that would enable them to drive major Quality improvement projects across functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain).
