Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor
Position Summary
The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating the Manufacturing Engineering team to ensure stable, efficient, and compliant production processes for seatbelt assembly operations.
This role drives continuous improvement, supports new product launches, ensures process capability, and guarantees adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards (IATF *****).
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Manufacturing Engineers and Process Engineers.
Ensure manufacturing processes (e.g., webbing cutting, tipper sewing, lacing, sleeve assembly, box stitch, and EOL testing) are optimized for efficiency, quality, and safety.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, OEE improvement, waste reduction).
Define and maintain standard work, process documentation, and engineering specifications.
