Liaison to management on manufacturing, quality, process, and engineering related issues.
Direct and coordinate activities of production workers such as inspectors, assemblers, fabricators, machine/setters, test and other plant & system operators.
Anticipate and adapt to change, making required adjustments to schedules.
Enforce safety and environmental regulations.
Direct and coordinate activities of employees engaged in production or processing of goods.
Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals and maintain capacity plans.
Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
