Overview Westview Projects is a general contracting company headquartered in Ottawa that specializes in construction management services for institutional, commercial, multi‑residential and retail clients.
Position Summary The Superintendent reports to the VP of Construction and oversees all field operations required to construct the project, ensuring project plans and schedules are followed and the project is executed within budget.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
Help create, maintain, and execute project plan and schedule and ensure compliance with budget.
Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
Work with Senior Superintendents, Coordinators, Field Engineers, Surveyors, Students, hourly Foremen and hourly staff assigned to a project.
Create site‑specific plans and procedures; implement Westview’s Safety Program to create a safe work environment and adhere to safety and record‑keeping requirements.
