GENERAL DUTIES: + Drive a school vehicle over assigned routes. + Supervise students’ behavior, loading and unloading of the school bus. + Wash outside front and rear of bus as necessary and sweep interior. + Follow all New York State Motor Vehicle and Department of Transportation Laws, State Education and local school district rules and regulations.
Job Qualifications + Fingerprint Clearance + High School Diploma or GED or higher + Have or obtain a New York State Commercial Driver's License under DMV Article 19A + Good driving record + Pass State Education and School physicals + Must attend all classes of instruction required by New York State Education Department. + Must be at least 21 years of age.
