Time Commitment: At least once a month for Academic Caucus meeting (~2 hours) + Monthly Senate meetings (~3 hours) + committee meeting times (varies by committee).

Responsibilities

• Participating in discussions on academic policy, curriculum, and university governance during the monthly Senate meetings.
• Examining and casting votes on issues including institutional policies, graduation lists, academic rules, and program approvals.
• Serving on one or more Senate standing committees where in-depth policy work is done, such as Academic Programs, Research, Library, and APPC.
