About This Opportunity

Enhance Board operations as a Strategic Corporate Secretary. Lead governance practices and compliance initiatives to support effective stewardship in a dynamic hybrid work setting.
This pivotal role provides strategic leadership and serves as a trusted advisor to senior management and the Board of Directors. Responsibilities encompass implementing governance frameworks, overseeing the corporate secretariat, and managing compliance with legal and public sector requirements. You will also focus on maintaining corporate records and supporting director recruitment, education, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead governance best practices for affiliates
• Advise on compliance and ethics frameworks
• Develop agendas and oversee meeting documentation
• Monitor legal and reputational risk management
• Facilitate director onboarding and evaluation
Requirements:
• LL.B. or J.D. with active law society membership
• Minimum of 8 years in governance and law
