Procurement Planner role summary: to be executed in accordance with MRP demand to guarantee material availability with correct stock, transport mode, and timing to support production plans.
Responsibilities
Execute procurement in accordance with MRP demand.
Maintain raw materials inventories at target levels and escalate issues to the procurement manager in a timely manner.
Address SAP daily alerts and inform the team of potential or real shortages of raw materials in advance.
Coordinate expediting from suppliers to the production line.
Ensure weekly releases are transmitted to suppliers and that transportation routing instructions are followed, minimizing premium costs when they occur.
