The Specialist Sourcing ā Mechanical Locomotive & Car is accountable for the sourcing, procurement, and management of the Mechanical portfolio in accordance with CPKCās policies and procedures.
Position Accountabilities
Integral part of the Mechanical Procurement team managing a portfolio of approximately $500M in spend ensuring the continuity of supply for all materials, assets, and services for the Mechanical department
Contribute towards the development and implementation of sourcing plans for a range of goods and services
Negotiate contracts for goods and/or services required by internal customers
Develop contract agreements, incorporating results of negotiations and best business practices
Develop Business Cases providing the business reasons for the recommendation
Oversee implementation and effective application of agreements for contract term
