Job Description A day in the life of a Software Quality Assurance Developer at Esri Canada

Executes test cases (manual and automated) based on established test plans to validate product functionality, performance, and usability.

Participates a range of testing activities, including unit, integration, regression, UI/UX, and user acceptance testing, with guidance from more senior QA resources.

Records, documents, and tracks defects using Azure DevOps or a similar tool, ensuring issues are clearly described and reproducible.

Supports defect triage activities by validating fixes and re‑testing resolved issues.

Assists in the maintenance and enhancement of test cases, test data, and testing documentation.

Collaborates with developers, QA team members, and implementation teams to clarify requirements and expected system behaviour.
