Position Summary
Reporting to the Signal Supervisor, The Signal Assistant will be supporting project work and/or the maintenance operations. The work is physically demanding and performed outdoors in a field environment, near live track during nights and days, in all weather conditions.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities and Duties · Perform general labor tasks as necessary including operating equipment.
· Maintain tools and equipment in ready-for-service condition.
· Perform special duties as assigned by the Signal Supervisor, Leading Signal Maintainer or Signal Maintainer.
