Position Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join CGI and work on high-impact Enterprise Payments initiatives for one of Canada’s leading banks. We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Developer with 6+ years of strong hands-on expertise in software development, Java 17+, Spring Boot 3, and modern microservices architecture.

In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend solutions, leveraging your expertise in core Java concepts, multithreading, and object-oriented programming. You will build and enhance RESTful APIs using Spring Boot 3 and implement message-driven communication using technologies such as Apache Kafka to support event-driven systems.

This is a permanent fulltime, hybrid position requiring 2-3 days onsite at our Atlantic Canada offices- Halifax, NS; Moncton, NB; Fredericton, NB; Stratford, PEI or St. John's, NFLD.
