About This Opportunity

Responsibilities
  • Define, document, and release assembly and manufacturing processes during product development, NPI, and line transfer
  • Partner with Product Development Engineering to influence design decisions through DFM and DFA input
  • Develop, standardize, and validate crimping processes including press and applicator setup parameters
  • Execute and document crimp validation activities (crimp height, pull force, microsections)
  • Provide hands‑on technical leadership during line ramp‑up and sustaining production
  • Troubleshoot process‑related issues including crimp defects, deformation, gaps, and assembly variation
  • Support cycle time optimization and line balancing from a process capability perspective
  • Provide technical input and countermeasures to PFMEA and Control Plans
  • Introduce fixtures, assembly jigs, and process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and repeatability
