BDO Canada is looking for a Senior Manager to join the Expatriate Tax Services team. The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:
Provide guidance and training to the team in the preparation of Canadian and US individual tax returns
Review Canadian and US individual income tax returns
Day‑to‑day expatriate tax advice, including queries on items such as individual relocations, payroll benefit taxation and reporting
Research income‑tax issues and review memoranda or client letters in the area of executive compensation, global equity plans, policy design and other expatriate‑tax matters
Work closely with the Partner in charge of the practice to develop and support the team
Explore future business opportunities with partners across Canada concerning their clients
Engage in business‑development initiatives to further grow the practice
