Senior Level Controller

Our client is a substantial division of a large multi-national corporation that is involved in a variety of dynamic and successful business ventures. An excellent position has arisen for a motivated CPA to function as a Senior Level Controller, reporting directly to the CFO. The position will be based in our client’s Canadian head office location in downtown Vancouver. This role will be a key finance role within the organization and will directly supervise the accounting department.

Responsibilities

• P/L reporting
• Budgeting
• Tax planning
• Preparation of audited financial statements
• Corporate income tax and other tax returns
• Transfer pricing
• Overseeing internal and government audits
• Liaison with the parent companies
• Working with the auditors and communicating with government agencies
• Special projects as assigned by the CFO
