Responsibilities
Responsible for preparing Estimates for Design-Build and for CM projects. This will include all ‘soft’ budget elements including commentary, assumptions lists, presentation materials etc., as required
Lead on hard bid pursuits
Study plans and specifications
Interpret the technical specifications of the tender documents
Analyze and prepare tender documents
Discuss the working methods to be applied, parts of the work to be subcontracted, risks and constraints of the call for tenders
Perform quantity calculations
Evaluate the costs of materials, labor, and necessary equipment
Find prices from subcontractors and suppliers
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to confirm pricing, coverage, and cover scope gaps
