About This Opportunity

Job Summary:

The Jr Architectural Historian provides administrative and program support to the Historic Preservation team, specifically for the Section 106 component of Environmental reviews and evaluations for funding granted by HUD CDBG. The position is responsible for assisting the Historic Preservation team on multiple projects simultaneously. 



Job Duties:

  • Works in a team environment that implements strategies, processes and solutions
  • Supports the project team with National Environmental Policy Act environmental reviews for HUD Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery projects
  • Communicates progress of tasks, problems, and resolutions to team members
  • Researches and identifies complex project issues or problems
  • Supports the Historic Preservation Team with Section 106 environmental reviews for HUD-funded Programs as it pertains to archaeology and architectural history
