Role Description

• Implement the security setting into the Database (either manually or by script) to meet the hardening standard
• Develop script to retrieve status of the hardening setting (before the qualys is 100% working)
• Enable database logging to ULS (if not done so)
• Work with application owner to provide list of items that need application team’s planning (e.g., list and reset the password for all accounts before turning on the max password setting, review the log files/SQL profiler/other tool with the application team so that we can identify usage of the account, changes of the 1433 ports for SQL servers, etc.)
