**ROLE PURPOSE**
- The Cost Optimization team is responsible for identifying cost reduction opportunities within Brazil Operations without compromising safety or service quality.
- Brazil Operations is a critical business unit for SBM Offshore’s cash flow, handling 20-30% of Brazil’s oil production.
- The cost structure of Brazil Operations is heavily focused on maintenance activities that ensure FPSOs (Floating Production Storage and Offloading units) can operate for up to 25 years in remote ocean locations, ensuring equipment reliability and the integrity of hulls and tanks.
- The Senior Cost Controller will be a key player in this strategic initiative, requiring a blend of strategic vision and strong skills in modeling and data analysis.
