Our internationally known CPG client is seeking a hands-on Senior Financial Analyst (Costing) for a 9-month contract to support post-implementation optimization following the rollout of SAP S/4HANA. This role will focus on analyzing and resolving material Purchase Price Variances (PPVs) that are impacting financial performance.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate and analyze Purchase Price Variances (PPVs) across materials and product lines - Identify root causes of PPVs, including FX impacts, intercompany transactions, margin eliminations, and true cost changes - Partner with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Procurement, FP&A) to validate findings and implement solutions - Work directly within SAP S/4HANA to extract, validate, and interpret costing data - Build and maintain detailed data models to support variance analysis and reporting - Provide clear insights and recommendations to improve costing accuracy and financial reporting
