Job Summary:The Homemaker Companion provides clients various companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions:
Companion/Sitter Provide companionship Meal planning, preparation Assist with shopping, driving, running errands Perform light housekeeping activities
Medication Services Assist with medications that the client self-administers
Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or equivalent certificate
Police Vulnerable sector check
Experience as a Homemaker/Companion (in homes or facilities) is an asset
Meet passing criteria on DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
