Responsibilities
The Senior Buyer is responsible for sourcing and managing prototype tooling, production tooling, assembly capital, direct buy, steel and purchased components.
Works integrally with Presstran Engineering, Materials and Quality Teams to ensure successful product and tool launches.
Creates, distributes, collects, and recommends all program‑related suppliers and recommends overall business cases.
Develops and executes effective bidding, negotiation, pricing strategies and supplier recommendations to provide the best value within budgets and policies.
