Description Our client is a boutique firm registered with CPAB and PCAOB and specializes in servicing public companies and companies looking to go public. Great opportunity to work closely with the partners and be mentored by them (with excellent potential to be Manager), you will be responsible for audit engagements of public companies that include mining, technology, start-up’s and other businesses. Duties include the following:
• Planning and executing of fieldwork from start to finish – budgeting of engagements and supervising junior staff.
• Liaising with clients, being the first point of contact and providing feedback to the partners.
• Performing interim reviews for US quarterly reporting.
• Researching complex accounting issues, keeping current on IFRS and other auditing standards.
