A Security Technician troubleshoots and services intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. The role requires strong verbal communication skills to identify customer needs, explain next steps, and coordinate repairs. You will inspect systems, generate written or digital reports, locate and resolve equipment or wiring issues, readjust or replace equipment, test for operation, and ensure proper service connectivity. You will assist other service technicians with repairs and perform minor maintenance such as battery replacement. All required forms and customer paperwork will be completed accurately.
