Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the security of the hospital, outside properties and assets. The Security Officer manufactures identification badges using a computerized identification badge system. The Security Officer monitors various surveillance systems throughout the hospital and responds as needed. Position bears a 24-hour duty requirement with necessity for extensive patrolling throughout all the facility areas and must be alert for threats to the safety of the facility and personnel.
