Position: Program Worker - Youth and Family - Elementary (30 hrs per week, Monday to Friday). Current rate: $34.07 plus 16.3% in lieu of benefits. Locations may change.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related discipline.
Relevant coursework in interpersonal communication, counselling theory, CPI preferred, and at least two of: child and adolescent psychology, behavioural change theories, family systems (domestic violence, family conflict, substance abuse), abnormal psychology, group processes.
Minimum two years of experience working with at‑risk children and youth.
Skills in collaboration, consultation, and facilitation among schools and community agencies.
