The Provincial Clinical Viewer Project is intended to consolidate the three disparate viewers to one provincial clinical viewer with the goal of eliminating inefficiencies. The expected benefits and outcomes include the creation of a sustainable and scalable solution for the future, improved clinical decision‑making through increased and integrated access to relevant and reliable electronic patient data from multiple sources across the continuum of care, simplified integration and standardization, timely access to health information for both patients and health‑care providers, and integration with all provincial repositories and registries.
