The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN offers clinical direction to Health Care Aides, Unit Clerks, and other nursing staff when assigned charge responsibilities. The role upholds the Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics, provincial nursing standards, the Registered Nurses Act, and the Register Psychiatric Nurses Act, supporting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Interlake‑Eastern Regional Health Authority.
