Job Overview

Retail service establishment. Various locations. Private security agency. Retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre. Shopping centre or mall.

Responsibilities

• May be required to appear in court as witness.
• Produce reports.
• Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts and to monitor establishment activities.
• Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.

Qualifications

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma.

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2‑axle vehicles).
• CPR Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in Retail loss prevention.

Other requirements: Criminal record check. Bondable. Own vehicle. Own transportation.
