TITLE: REPLACEMENT YOUTH CARE WORKER - 35 Hours DEPARTMENT: Schools REPORTS TO: Principal or Designate WAGE: $32.32 - $33.67 hourly wage effective July 1, 2024 SUMMARY: With direction from the teacher or administrator, the YCW assists in developing and implementing individual education plans for students with emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties. DUTIES: Maintains liaison with teachers, counsellors, administrators, students and their families. Conducts home and community visits. Assists in the development and implementation of specific academic/social interventions with students who present unique and challenging behaviors. Provides guidance to students and their families.
