Schedule and dispatch drivers for cargo pick-up and delivery to customers.
Serve as the primary contact for drivers to balance driver health and safety with customer requirements.
Contribute to achieving operational goals such as on-time delivery percentage and stops per hour.
Manage delivery punctuality and maintain regular contact with drivers throughout the day.
Plan pick-up and delivery activities by assigning necessary personnel to meet objectives.
Requirements:
Over 5 years of dispatch experience in less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation, preferably in urban settings.
