In this role, you won’t just observe—you’ll contribute to real engineering work that impacts equipment performance and reliability. You will:

• Work directly with Reliability Engineers on active mining operations
• Build hands‑on experience with Caterpillar heavy equipment
• Apply classroom knowledge to real‑world engineering challenges
• Develop your skills in data analysis, diagnostics, and performance optimization
• Gain exposure to industry‑leading tools, systems, and technical training

What You’ll Be Doing

Planning and Assembly of 7495 Mining Shovel (90%)

• Assemble drawing/job packages for trades (Mechanics, Welders and Electricians)
• Perform site safety inspections
• Monitor project consumables and aid in ordering
• Create daily progress reports
• Perform Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks and documentation
